Churches United is currently looking for individuals who are willing to donate 1-4 hours per month to helping in the office.
Activities volunteers may be involved in include: greeting individuals as the come in, interviewing clients, photocopying, data entry, filing, donations inventory, fetching items from the backroom to meet client needs, and more. There is something for everyone and no need for everyone to do everything.
A love for people and a desire to make a difference are the main requirements.
If you are interested, contact the director by stopping into the office business hours or calling and leaving a message anytime.
Churches United is open from Noon to 4, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
On March 2, we were informed that we had been awarded a $3250 grant to help increase the amount of bus tokens and laundry vouchers for the homeless for the year. Just click HERE for the Bemidji Pioneer article. This is a great blessing and will help our efforts to increase the services we offer to people in the Bemidji area.
