APRIL 2021 UPDATE

Our new protected service counter has a drawer
that allows for no-contact distribution of aid.

Our lobby is now open for guests to come in. There are a few rules we would like you to follow:

  1. Face coverings are required in our office.
  2. Space is limited, this makes social distancing very difficult. Therefore, we ask that only one guest or family come into the lobby at a time.
  3. If possible, please call ahead to apply for assistance over the phone.
  4. A photo ID is required for all vouchers.
  5. A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance are required for all gas vouchers. We must be able to make a photo copy of the both.

NOTE: If you try calling and you get a busy signal, try again in a bit. We only have one phone line. Your patience is appreciated.

Churches United is currently looking for individuals who are willing to donate 1-4 hours per month to helping in the office.

Activities volunteers may be involved in include: greeting individuals as the come in, interviewing clients, photocopying, data entry, filing, donations inventory, fetching items from the backroom to meet client needs, and more. There is something for everyone and no need for everyone to do everything.

A love for people and a desire to make a difference are the main requirements.

If you are interested, contact the director by stopping into the office business hours or calling and leaving a message anytime.

Churches United is open from Noon to 4, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
