Churches United Bemidji

Churches United has changed their hours of operation to Monday thru Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Please note that if we do not have volunteers to staff the office, we will not be open. Please call 218-444-1380 prior to coming to the office to be sure we are staffed and open.

Our lobby is now open for guests to come in. There are a few rules we would like you to follow:

1. For the sake of guest privacy, we ask that only one guest or family come into the lobby at a time.
2. A photo ID is required for all vouchers.
3. A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance are required for all gas vouchers. We must be able to make a photo copy of the both.
4. Do to staffing shortages that cause unexpected closures of our office, it is advised that you call 218-444-1380 prior to coming in to be sure we are open.

NOTE: If you try calling and you get a busy signal, try again in a bit. We only have one phone line. Your patience is appreciated.

Churches United would like to say a big “Thank You” to the United Way of Bemidji for offering this awesome way to showcase what we do.

Churches United is currently looking for individuals who are willing to donate 1-4 hours per month to helping in the office.

Activities volunteers may be involved in include: greeting individuals as the come in, interviewing clients, photocopying, data entry, filing, donations inventory, fetching items from the backroom to meet client needs, and more. There is something for everyone and no need for everyone to do everything.

A love for people and a desire to make a difference are the main requirements.
